TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It should inform your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
