TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
